1. What this site is
This website describes the Access Home Path planning and referral service for home mobility and access equipment, hosts free educational articles and tools, and lets you request a free access plan. Using the site means you accept these terms.
2. The free plan and introductions
Submitting the request form asks us to contact you; it does not create a contract, charge you anything, or obligate either of us. When we introduce you to a local provider, any purchase, rental, or installation you go on to arrange is a contract between you and that provider, on that provider's terms and pricing. Access Home Path is not a party to that contract, does not set the provider's prices, and does not perform the work.
3. Vetting, honestly described
We vet providers before introducing them, on points such as licensing, insurance, installation practice, and rental terms, and we tell you plainly when we have no vetted provider in your area. Vetting is a good-faith screening, not a guarantee of any provider's work, and you should still review the quote, the warranty, and the contract yourself before hiring anyone. If a provider we introduced falls short of what we describe, tell us; it affects whether they stay in the network.
4. Referral fees
The service is free to families. If we introduce you to a provider and you hire them, that provider may pay us a referral fee. The fee does not change the price you pay, and we disclose this relationship here, on the homepage, and in our disclaimer.
5. Content and tools
Articles, calculators, and other content are educational, provided as-is, and describe typical figures and published standards rather than quotes or guarantees. They are not medical, legal, or financial advice. Decisions about what a person needs belong with their care team, and the only binding numbers are the ones in a written quote from a provider or a coverage decision from the program itself.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site: no scraping at abusive volume, no submitting requests with someone else's identity without their permission, no attempting to breach or overload our infrastructure, and no using our forms to send spam.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Access Home Path is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this site or from work performed by independent providers, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to one hundred dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and continued use after a change means acceptance. Questions: support@accesshomepath.com.
